Sometimes I wonder

Why I wander around

Sailing through cities

I listen for sounds of you

‘Hours and Hours’

While it's been decades since his mother forced him to practice piano every day, Brandon is grateful to his parents for the gift of music.

Born in New York, but raised in Louisville and Indianapolis, Brandon spent much of his life moving around- going to college at Millikin University in Illinois, then heading to Nashville for a few years, before a journey out west- to Utah, Montana, Washington State- all before settling back in Indiana in 2013.

And though he stepped away from the piano when he was ten to play guitar and sing, his love of music has only grown. Today, Brandon Wilson writes songs about the experience of life- love, loss, fun, work, play- it's all brought together with catchy melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and his acoustic guitar.

After writing and recording his last album, Sailing Through Cities, at the Velvet Lounge in Indy back in 2016, Brandon is back with his new album, And, coming out March 10th, 2023, recorded at Round Table Recording in Broad Ripple. It features some of the best talent Indianapolis has to offer- from Charlie Ballantine, Mina Keohane, Eric Pedigo, Jim Bailey, Ben Jarvis, Michael Clark- the list goes on. And is an album not to be missed.

When Brandon’s not playing and creating music, he’s hanging out with his wife and 3 beautiful cats, or working on his coaching business.
